Cultural experiences

Val Badia is also rich in cultural experiences, offering a variety of attractions to visit in both good and bad weather. Not far from our village there is the Ladin museum in San Martino, where you can get to know our culture, our traditions and our mother tongue. Mountain enthusiasts should not miss a visit to Kronplatz, where there are two very special and interesting museums.

The Museum of Mountain Photography and the Messner Mountain Museum, where Reinhold Messner, the great mountaineer, tells the story of the mountains, their culture and inhabitants. These are the museums to which we are most attached, in the surroundings you will find many other cultural museums. In Longiarú, a small village not far from us, you can visit the valley of the mills, a pleasant walk that will take you to discover eight ancient water mills. Once a week you will have the opportunity to see how bread was made long ago.
